Privacy Policy

StickPDF ("the Service") is a web tool that places images onto PDF pages and saves the result as a new PDF. This page explains what information the Service handles, and — just as importantly — what it does not.

1. Your PDFs and images are never uploaded

This is the single most important fact about the Service. The PDF files you open and the images you place are processed entirely inside your browser and are never transmitted to any server. Reading the file, compositing the images, and generating the new PDF all run as JavaScript on your own device.

As a result, the operator of this site cannot know which documents you opened or which stamps or signatures you placed, and has no means of storing or viewing them. When you close the browser tab, your work is discarded from your device's memory.

You can verify this yourself. Open your browser's developer tools (F12), switch to the Network tab, then open a PDF — you will see no request carrying your file. Alternatively, load the page and then disconnect from the internet; the tool keeps working.

2. Information stored in your browser

The Service stores your chosen interface language (Korean or English) in your browser's localStorage so that it can greet you in the same language next time. This value stays on your device and is never transmitted. You can erase it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

There are no user accounts, so the Service does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other account information.

3. Server access logs

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. For any website to load, your browser must request its pages and scripts, and this leaves technical access records on Vercel's servers — IP address, timestamp, browser type, and the URL requested. These records are common to essentially all websites and are used only to deliver the Service and to diagnose errors and abuse.

For details on Vercel's handling of such data, see the Vercel Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies and advertising

To cover running costs, the Service may display advertising through Google AdSense. Where ads are served, the following applies:

Important: advertising cookies relate to browsing activity only. They have nothing to do with the contents of your PDFs or images. As described above, your files never reach a server, so they cannot be shared with advertisers or anyone else.

5. Users in the EU, UK and Switzerland (GDPR)

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before any advertising or analytics cookies are set. If you decline, those cookies are not used. You can change your choice at any time from the banner at the bottom of the page.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data. Because the Service does not itself retain information that identifies you, most such requests are resolved immediately by clearing cookies and site data in your browser. For anything further, please use the contact address below.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised text and a new "last updated" date will be posted on this page. Significant changes will additionally be announced within the Service.
